Day 3

Nicole was out last night celebrating her roommates birthday so we had a slower start this morning. After a delicious breakfast of pancakes we headed back into the centre of London. We decided to take a boat cruise down the Thames River since neither of us had had this experience before.
It was great. We got to take some great pictures of a lot of sights without all the walking and crowds. It was an overcast day but no rain so that was perfect.
Today we saw the Parliament buildings, the London Eye, the Tower Bridge, St Paul's Catherdal and Westminster Abby to name a few. We didn't ride the eye since we have done that in the past but if you are ever in London it is definite must do! We also partook in some of my favourite English experiences, these are my "must dos" every time I am here.

- ride in a double decker bus, have a 99 ice cream treat, get a sausage roll from Gregg's, eat cadburys chocolate, have steak pie in a pub and have some chips wrapped in newspaper-
we have managed to do all of my favourite things in just two days!
Tonight we received some bad news from home. My other daughter, Katie, has broken her foot. Tonight was to be her big year end dance showcase, she landed badly from a jump and can't dance, it's a boot and crutches for her for the next few weeks. I am sad not to be at home to hug her but I know she is in great hands with her dad and grandparents.
It's important to have fun on your travels, to not take anything to seriously, to let go and go with the flow- nobody knows who the heck you are so who cares if your silly, or look terrible or are just living in the moment. It's all good!
